We’ll help keep your body going naturally.

Hormones are some of the most active substances in your body. They transmit signals from the ‘control centre’ to the target organs. Hormones are responsible for your development, ageing, metabolism, reproduction, mood, and cognitive function as well as help develop habits and behavioural patterns. In other words, hormones control your physiology.

Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy is a powerful, natural, and precision tool for managing nearly all physiological processes your hormones take part in. But this is particularly true for the conditions causing a decrease in natural hormone production due to physiological or disease-related reasons.

The former include, but are not limited to, ageing, menopause/andropause, and postpartum period when breastfeeding results in inhibition of ovarian activity.
The latter include various conditions after ovarian surgery, IVF, and chemotherapy, depression and insomnia, chronic fatigue syndrome, sexual dysfunction, infertility, metabolic syndrome, obesity, and many more.

Natural hormonal products can activate metabolic processes, increase your performance and physical/psycho-emotional stress resistance, help achieve great sports results and enhance dieting effects, improve sexuality, memory, and mood, and normalize sleep.

Our approach to hormone replacement therapy

It’s extremely important to copy the chemical composition of natural hormones in medicinal products to make sure hormone replacement therapy naturally maintains the normal function of your body.

Their composition must match that of those being produced by your body, i.e. they need to bioidentical. This is the type of products we use at Medical Club Grace.

Q&A

What is the difference between bioidentical and synthetic hormones?

Synthetic hormones aren’t produced by the human body and aren’t identical to natural hormones they’re meant to replace either in terms of composition or effects.
For this reason, synthetic hormones have a wide range of side effects and are poorly tolerated. This is often the case for long-term administration, in elderly people, or patients with underlying conditions.
Non-bioidentical hormones can cause adverse side effects, which replace the underlying disease symptoms, and may not cure such symptoms completely.

Is bioidentical hormone replacement therapy safe?

Bioidentical hormones have been used as a treatment for over a thousand years. The earliest known written records of their use date back to Ancient China where elderly female aristocrats took dried urine of young women to fix the menopause and ageing problems. As a matter of fact, the urine of young women contains oestrogen, progesterone, and testosterone metabolism products which have rejuvenating and stimulating effects.
In conventional medicine, natural hormone-containing products have been used since the 1930s, but they were not popular primarily because of their injectable form.
Bioidentical pellets were invented in the same period, while they’re currently regaining popularity thanks to their natural properties and sustainability.
Over decades, the BHRT methodology has proved to be safe and efficient, as evidenced by generations of endocrinologists, gynecologists, and andrologists.
